At The Velvet Knot Co., each product is thoughtfully handcrafted and carefully packed to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition. Due to the delicate nature of our artisanal candles, we do not offer returns or refunds except in cases where the product is received in a damaged condition.


🚫 No Returns or Refunds Without Unboxing Video

To be eligible for any kind of refund or replacement:

  • You must provide a clear, uncut opening video of the package from the moment it is being opened.

  • The video should clearly show the outer packaging, shipping label, and the item being unboxed without any pause or cuts.

  • Without this video, no claims for damage will be accepted.

⏳ Time Frame for Refunds:

  • Minimum time for processing: 3–5 business days after approval.

  • Maximum time for completion: 7–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

Once you update this version of the Return & Refund Policy on your website (or product page footer), it will meet their requirement.


💔 Refunds for Damaged Items Only

  • Refunds (or replacements) are only applicable if the product arrives broken or damaged in transit.

  • Claims must be raised within 24 hours of delivery by emailing nehajbhatia23@gmail.com with your order number and unboxing video.

  • Once your request is verified and approved, we will issue a refund in the form of store credit (minus shipping charges) or dispatch a replacement, as applicable.

❌ What is Not Covered

We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges in the following cases:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect scent or style chosen

  • Lack of opening video

  • Products that have been used, lit, or unboxed off-camera

  • Custom or personalized orders

  • Items purchased on sale or during a promotional offer
